The most important part of therapy is the connection between you and your therapist. Feeling seen and heard is what creates the foundation for change. That’s why I focus on building a relationship where you feel safe enough to explore your internal and external world without fear or shame.
As an integrative psychotherapist, I don’t follow a single method; I shape our sessions around what feels most useful to you. I pay close attention to how you think, feel, and relate and to what’s happening between us in the session, always with the aim of supporting meaningful change rather than quick fixes.
I’m a senior-accredited BACP psychotherapist, a UKCP-registered practitioner and clinical supervisor. I have worked across a range of mental health settings, including the NHS, a university and an LGBTQ+ charity. These experiences have strengthened my belief that therapy needs to meet people where they are.
Before retraining as a psychotherapist, I spent 20 years in the music industry as an award-winning publicist representing high-profile artists. I know first-hand what it’s like to work in environments where competition and uncertainty are constant. I now support clients from creative and other high-pressure industries with unique challenges like unstable self-esteem, imposter syndrome, performance anxiety, sudden success and burnout.
In addition to my private practice, I head the mental health service for a major UK record label for five years, supporting musicians and industry professionals.
